Daytime Running Lamps

The daytime running lamps can enhance visibility and reduce the chances of daytime collisions. The daytime running lamps function is programmable. The default is off when delivered; they can be programmed to be on whenever the 500c is running.

Convertible top

The 500c is more than just the open version of the FIAT 500 - it’s a unique vehicle in its own right that reaches new heights of driving excitement. The electrically operated soft top can be controlled by buttons next to the interior roof light. In addition, the soft top can be operated at any speed under 80 km/h.

Storage features

The FIAT 500c offers numerous storage features. Lounge models feature a centre console and glove box that offer convenient storage space for the items you always carry and include a front passenger seat cushion storage area. Three cup holders are included in the front seat and two additional cup holders are found in the rear. There are pockets on the front doors and the front seatbacks. If you need to stow it, store it or secure it, the 500c gives you plenty of options.

FIAT 500c seats are works of art. You can choose the same two-tone design as the original 500, with the top half of the seats and the head restraints matching the colour of the steering wheel. Driver's seat easy-entry with memory

For easy access to the rear seat without making lots of readjustments, FIAT 500c includes standard driver’s seat easy-entry with memory. It allows you to set the driver’s seat position to your specific preferences.

Digital instrument panel display with EVIC

The instruments have been designed in a slick, rounded panel, with an integrated digital display that’s easy to read. The standard Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) is a customizable driver information and control system that makes it easy to select and view information. Display choices include trip, outside temperature, average fuel economy, distance to empty, low fuel, service and range.

Cargo capacity

500c offers generous space for all sorts of cargo, with just under 153 litres with the rear seats up and just over 663 litres with the rear seats folded. You can add a storage unit or an organizer to the trunk to keep cargo from being tossed about.

Automatic Temperature Control

The available Automatic Temperature Control system provides set-and-forget operation for optimum comfort and convenience. It monitors inside and outside temperature as well as surface temperature, and automatically adjusts airflow, temperature, distribution and recirculation to maintain the desired temperature setting.

12-volt Power Outlet

A standard 12-volt power outlet is located in the floor console for added convenience. This power outlet can power mobile phones, electronics and other low power devices.

Suspension system

The suspension system on FIAT 500c Lounge models includes a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear axle. Front and rear sway bars and numerous other suspension advancements contribute to the FIAT 500c’s impressive ride and handling characteristics.

Sport Button

AM/FM/CD/MP3 Radio w/6 Speakers

The standard AM/FM/CD/MP3 radio w/6 speakers features a single disc CD and MP3 player with an audio jack for playing music through the vehicle’s speakers.

Tire Service Kit

The available Tire Service Kit can temporarily seal small punctures in the tire tread up to ¼-inch in diameter, allowing you to drive your vehicle up to 160 Kilometres with a maximum speed of 88 km/h. The kit is located under the driver seat and includes sealant, air pump, pressure gauge, power plug and all necessary hoses.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System Warning Lamp

The standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System features a warning lamp in the instrument cluster that illuminates and an audible chime that sounds when the system senses low tire pressure in any tire.

Seven standard air bags*

A total of seven standard air bags surround occupants with a high level of protection in the event of a crash. Advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags* provide nearly instantaneous occupant protection and match air bag output to crash severity. Each air bag system has its own sensors, so only the front seat-mounted and side-curtain air bags on the side of the impact deploy.

*Children 12 years old and younger should always ride buckled up in a rear seat. Infants in rear-facing child restraints should never ride in the front seat of a vehicle with a passenger front air bag. All occupants should always wear their lap and shoulder belts properly.

Rear Park Assist

The standard Rear Park Assist System helps detect nearby obstacles in, and near, the rear path of the vehicle. This is helpful when manoeuvring in tight spaces at parking speeds. When it detects an object that might be outside your line of sight, Rear Park Assist alerts you with a series of audible warnings that increase in tempo as the vehicle nears the objects.

Keyless entry with engine immobilizer

Keyless entry allows you to lock and unlock the driver’s door at the touch of a button on the key fob. The engine immobilizer protects your vehicle by not allowing it to run when an attempt is made to start it without the properly encoded key.

Hill Start Assist

Standard Hill Start Assist uses the Electronic Stability Control (ESC)* sensors to help prevent vehicle rollback on a steep grade. The system maintains brake pressure as you move your foot from the brake to the accelerator. This feature is especially helpful on vehicles with manual transmissions to prevent rollback when engaging the clutch.

Fog Lamps

The available fog lamps project a low, wide beam of light to increase road surface illumination and to cut down on glare in low visibility conditions, such as fog or snow.

Electronic Stability Control*

Standard Electronic Stability Control, or ESC, senses when there’s a difference between the driver’s intended path and the actual path of the vehicle. ESC then applies selective braking, and sometimes throttle control, to help guide the vehicle back on to the driver’s intended path

Active front head restraints*

Standard driver and front-passenger active head restraints* are designed to help prevent or reduce the extent of injuries to the driver and front passenger in certain types of rear-end impacts. When deployed, in the event of a rear-end collision, these head restraints move forward and upward to decrease the space between the headrest and the occupant’s head, thereby helping to reduce the chance of injury.

*Always sit properly with the head restraint properly adjusted. Never place anything in front of the head restraint.

4 Wheel Anti-Lock Disc Brakes

The standard four-wheel disc anti-lock brake system (ABS) automatically modulates brake pressure to prevent wheel lockup and improve steering control under extreme braking and slippery conditions. The disc brake rotors are always exposed to the outside air, constantly cooling them. This cooling helps the brakes resist fading for confident stopping under extreme conditions.

'Follow Me Home' function: headlamp off delay

FIAT 500c includes a 'Follow Me Home' function. When you leave the vehicle at night, the headlamps stay on to illuminate the front of the vehicle for a preset period of time - up to three-and-a-half minutes.

TomTom® Nav with Blue&Me(TM) Hands-Free Communication integrates fully with your Fiat 500c. In addition to the navigation, the 4.3-inch screen is used to display and help manage your phone and music, as well as displaying data from the Electronic Vehicle Information System such as low fuel warning. AM/FM/CD/MP3 Radio w/6 Speakers

The standard AM/FM/CD/MP3 radio w/6 speakers features a single disc CD and MP3 player with an audio jack for playing music through the vehicle’s speakers.

Tire Service Kit

The available Tire Service Kit can temporarily seal small punctures in the tire tread up to ¼-inch in diameter, allowing you to drive your vehicle up to 160 kilometres with a maximum speed of 88 km/h. The kit is located under the driver seat and includes sealant, air pump, pressure gauge, power plug and all necessary hoses.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System Warning Lamp

The standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System features a warning lamp in the instrument cluster that illuminates and an audible chime that sounds when the system senses low tire pressure in any tire.

Seven standard air bags*

A total of seven standard air bags surround occupants with a high level of protection in the event of a crash. Advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags* provide nearly instantaneous occupant protection and match air bag output to crash severity. Each air bag system has its own sensors, so only the front seat-mounted and side-curtain air bags on the side of the impact deploy.

Children 12 years old and younger should always ride buckled up in a rear seat. Infants in rear-facing child restraints should never ride in the front seat of a vehicle with a passenger front air bag. All occupants should always wear their lap and shoulder belts properly.

Rear Park Assist

The standard Rear Park Assist System helps detect nearby obstacles in, and near, the rear path of the vehicle. This is helpful when manoeuvring in tight spaces at parking speeds. When it detects an object that might be outside your line of sight, Rear Park Assist alerts you with a series of audible warnings that increase in tempo as the vehicle nears the objects.

Keyless entry with engine immobilizer

Keyless entry allows you to lock and unlock the driver’s door at the touch of a button on the key fob. The engine immobilizer protects your vehicle by not allowing it to run when an attempt is made to start it without the properly encoded key.

Hill Start Assist

Standard Hill Start Assist uses the Electronic Stability Control (ESC)* sensors to help prevent vehicle rollback on a steep grade. The system maintains brake pressure as you move your foot from the brake to the accelerator. This feature is especially helpful on vehicles with manual transmissions to prevent rollback when engaging the clutch.

Electronic Stability Control*

Standard Electronic Stability Control, or ESC, senses when there’s a difference between the driver’s intended path and the actual path of the vehicle. ESC then applies selective braking, and sometimes throttle control, to help guide the vehicle back on to the driver’s intended path.

Electronic Brake Assist (included with ESC*)

Standard Brake Assist applies maximum braking power in emergency braking situations to help drivers attain the shortest stopping distance.

Standard all-speed traction control is an electronically controlled system that limits wheelspin during acceleration so that the drive wheels have maximum traction. It's particularly useful when starting off in wet or icy conditions.

Active front head restraints*

Standard driver and front-passenger active head restraints* are designed to help prevent or reduce the extent of injuries to the driver and front passenger in certain types of rear-end impacts. When deployed, in the event of a rear-end collision, these head restraints move forward and upward to decrease the space between the headrest and the occupant’s head, thereby helping to reduce the chance of injury.

*Always sit properly with the head restraint properly adjusted. Never place anything in front of the head restraint.

4 Wheel Anti-Lock Disc Brakes

The standard four-wheel disc anti-lock brake system (ABS) automatically modulates brake pressure to prevent wheel lockup and improve steering control under extreme braking and slippery conditions. The disc brake rotors are always exposed to the outside air, constantly cooling them. This cooling helps the brakes resist fading for confident stopping under extreme conditions.

'Follow Me Home' function: headlamp off delay

FIAT 500c includes a 'Follow Me Home' function. When you leave the vehicle at night, the headlamps stay on to illuminate the front of the vehicle for a preset period of time - up to three-and-a-half minutes
