Fixed Glass Roof

For sun lovers it doesn't get any better than FIAT 500's available fixed glass roof. The entire roof is glass, so you can have the open-air feeling year round, but without the wind, or noise or weather. You can stay cozy inside and still watch everything that's going on around you. When you do want to shut the world out or just have some privacy, you can use the manual sunshade.

Fog Lamps

The available fog lamps project a low, wide beam of light to increase road surface illumination and to cut down on glare in low visibility conditions, such as fog or snow.

Power Sunroof

The FIAT 500 features an available Power Sunroof. It has a large glass surface that can open partially to vent, bringing fresh air into the cabin, or open fully for an exciting open-air driving experience. A high-strength weather seal around the sunroof ensures that no rain enters the vehicle when it's closed. A sliding sunshade in the headliner helps shield you from the afternoon glare.

Speed-sensitive wipers

The standard variable intermittent windshield wipers allow the wiper speed to be fine-tuned to a wide variety of vehicle speeds and varying weather conditions.

Auto-dimming rear-view mirror

The available electrochromic rear-view mirror automatically dims to substantially reduce glare from the sun or the lights of vehicles that are following your vehicle. This improves visibility and adds to overall driver comfort.

Automatic temperature control

The available Automatic Temperature Control system provides set-and-forget operation for optimum comfort and convenience. It monitors inside and outside temperature as well as surface temperature, and automatically adjusts airflow, temperature, distribution and recirculation to maintain the desired temperature setting.

Cargo capacity

FIAT 500 offers generous space for all sorts of cargo, with over 184 litres with the rear seats up and over 496 litres with the rear seats folded. You can add a storage unit or an organizer to the trunk to keep cargo from being tossed about.

Digital instrument panel display with EVIC

The instruments have been designed in a slick, rounded panel, with an integrated digital display that's easy to read. The standard Electronic Vehicle Information Computer (EVIC) is a customizable driver information and control system that makes it easy to select and view information. Display choices include trip, outside temperature, average fuel economy, distance to empty, low fuel, service and range.

Driver's seat easy-entry with memory

FIAT 500 includes standard driver's seat easy-entry with memory. It allows you to set the driver's seat position to your specific preferences. When someone wants to enter the back seat, you can flip your front seatback forward, and slide the entire seat forward for easy entry. When you return the driver's seat to its upright position, it returns to its originally set position.

Heated Front Seats

Available heated leather-faced front seats feature two different heat levels, providing an extra measure of comfort for the driver and front-seat passenger in cooler weather.

Leather-wrapped steering wheel w/Integrated Controls

The available leather-wrapped steering wheel has a firm feel and comfortable non-slip grip. Available controls for cruise, the sound system, phone and navigation system are integrated into the steering wheel so you can keep your hands on the wheel at all times.

Power-heated, folding exterior mirrors

The standard power mirrors can be adjusted from inside the vehicle at the touch of a button. The heat feature helps keep mirrors free of moisture, providing a clearer rear view, even in inclement weather. The foldaway feature helps keep the mirrors safe from damage in tight quarters, like car washes.

Seats designed for comfort

FIAT 500 seats are works of art. You can choose the same two-tone design as the original FIAT 500, with the top half of the seats and the head restraints matching the colour of the steering wheel. But looking good is only a small part of the story. These seats are designed to hold you and your passengers snugly in place for maximum comfort. It's like they are custom-made to fit you perfectly. Seats are leather-faced, durable, stylish and comfortable.

Storage features

The FIAT 500 offers numerous storage features. The glove box and front passenger seat cushion all offer storage space for the items you always carry. Three cupholders are included in the front seat and two additional cupholders are found in the rear. The rear cargo shelf panel offers additional storage space. There are pockets on the front doors and the front seatbacks. If you need to stow it, store it or secure it, the 500 gives you plenty of options.

Tilt steering column

The standard tilt steering column allows you to adjust the position of the steering wheel for customized driver comfort.

1.4L I4 MultiAir® Engine

FIAT 500 is equipped with FIAT's 1.4-liter, in-line four-cylinder MultiAir® engine. MultiAir® is a sophisticated technology that delivers an increase in power up to 10 percent and a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions up to 10 percent when compared to similar engines. FIAT MultiAir® technology was awarded 'Best of what's new' in 2010 by Popular Science Magazine. The 1.4L MultiAir® engine produces 101 horsepower and 98 lb-ft of torque while also providing excellent fuel economy, with estimates of 42 city/55 highway mpg* with the manual transaxle.

Five-speed manual transmission

The five-speed manual transmission combines excellent shift quality and shift effort with efficient performance. It includes an overdrive gear that contributes to improved fuel efficiency and lower highway noise.

Sport Button

Pressing the 'Sport' button on the dash panel will instantly adjust the steering feel and transmission shift points and make the throttle even more responsive, for a more sporty driving experience.

Suspension system

The suspension system on FIAT 500 Pop, Sport and Lounge models includes a McPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear axle. Front and rear sway bars and numerous other suspension advancements contribute to the FIAT 500's impressive ride and handling characteristics. Lounge models have a lower rate suspension and 15-inch tires with taller sidewalls, which results in a softer ride.

The available six-speed automatic transmission

World renowned for exquisite sound quality, BOSE® creates some of the finest sound reproduction equipment available. The BOSE® Premium Audio package is standard on the Lounge models. It features Panoramic Sound, filling the entire cabin with your favourite tunes. BOSE® Premium Audio includes six speakers and subwoofer, a series digital amplifier and a seven-channel equalizer.

TomTom® Nav w/Blue&Me(TM) Hands-Free Communication

TomTom® Nav w/Blue&Me(TM) Hands-Free Communication integrates fully with your Fiat 500. In addition to the navigation, the 4.3-inch screen is used to display and help manage your phone and music, as well as displaying data from the Electronic Vehicle Information System such as low fuel warning. The navigation unit charges while mounted to the dash, and in addition it's a portable unit that fits in your pocket.

Active front head restraints*

Standard driver and front-passenger active head restraints1 are designed to help prevent or reduce the extent of injuries to the driver and front passenger in certain types of rear-end impacts. When deployed, in the event of a rear-end collision, these head restraints move forward and upward to decrease the space between the headrest and the occupant's head, thereby helping to reduce the chance of injury. The head restraints can be tilted forward and backward for increased comfort.

*Always sit properly with the head restraint properly adjusted. Never place anything in front of the head restraint.

All-speed Traction Control System (included with ESC*)

Standard all-speed traction control is an electronically controlled system that limits wheel spin during acceleration so that the drive wheels have maximum traction. It's particularly useful when starting off in wet or icy conditions.

Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. When the ESC warning lamp flashes, the driver needs to use less throttle and adapt speed and driving behaviour to prevailing road conditions. Always drive carefully, consistent with conditions. Electronic Stability Control*

Standard Electronic Stability Control, or ESC, senses when there's a difference between the driver's intended path and the actual path of the vehicle. ESC then applies selective braking, and sometimes throttle control, to help guide the vehicle back on to the driver's intended path. Standard Brake Assist applies maximum braking power in emergency braking situations to help drivers attain the shortest stopping distance.

Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. When the ESC warning lamp in the speedometer flashes, the driver needs to use less throttle and adapt speed and driving behaviour to prevailing road conditions. Four-wheel disc Anti-lock Brake System

The standard four-wheel disc anti-lock brake system (ABS) automatically modulates brake pressure to prevent wheel lockup and improve steering control under extreme braking and slippery conditions. The disc brake rotors are always exposed to the outside air, constantly cooling them. This cooling helps the brakes resist fading for confident stopping under extreme conditions.

Hill Start Assist

Standard Hill Start Assist uses the Electronic Stability Control (ESC)* sensors to help prevent vehicle rollback on a steep grade. The system maintains brake pressure as you move your foot from the brake to the accelerator. This feature is especially helpful on vehicles with manual transmissions, to prevent rollback when engaging the clutch.

Keyless entry with engine immobilizer

Keyless entry allows you to lock and unlock the driver's door at the touch of a button on the key fob. The engine immobilizer protects your vehicle by not allowing it to run when an attempt is made to start it without the properly encoded key.

Rear Park Assist

The available Rear Park Assist helps detect nearby obstacles in, and near, the rear path of the vehicle. This is helpful when manoeuvring in tight spaces at parking speeds. When it detects an object that might be outside your line of sight, ParkSense® alerts you with a series of audible warnings that increase in tempo as the vehicle nears the objects.

Seven standard air bags*

A total of seven standard air bags surround occupants with a high level of protection in the event of a crash. Advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags* provide nearly instantaneous occupant protection and match air bag output to crash severity. A driver inflatable knee air bag deploys when the driver's air bag deploys. Supplemental front-seat mounted side air bags* provide enhanced protection for the driver and front outboard passenger in certain impacts. Supplemental side-curtain air bags* extend protection to outboard passengers in all rows.

*Children 12 years old and younger should always ride buckled up in a rear seat. Infants in rear-facing child restraints should never ride in the front seat of a vehicle with a passenger front air bag. All occupants should always wear their lap and shoulder belts properly.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System Warning Lamp

The standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System features a warning lamp in the instrument cluster that illuminates and an audible chime that sounds when the system senses low tire pressure in any tire.

'Follow Me Home' function: headlamp off delay

FIAT 500 includes a 'Follow Me Home' function. When you leave the vehicle at night, the headlamps stay on to illuminate the front of the vehicle for a preset period of time – up to three-and-a-half minutes.

Four-wheel disc Anti-lock Brake System

The standard four-wheel disc anti-lock brake system (ABS) automatically modulates brake pressure to prevent wheel lockup and improve steering control under extreme braking and slippery conditions. The disc brake rotors are always exposed to the outside air, constantly cooling them. This cooling helps the brakes resist fading for confident stopping under extreme conditions.

Hill Start Assist

Standard Hill Start Assist uses the Electronic Stability Control (ESC)* sensors to help prevent vehicle rollback on a steep grade. The system maintains brake pressure as you move your foot from the brake to the accelerator. This feature is especially helpful on vehicles with manual transmissions, to prevent rollback when engaging the clutch.

Keyless entry allows you to lock and unlock the driver's door at the touch of a button on the key fob. The engine immobilizer protects your vehicle by not allowing it to run when an attempt is made to start it without the properly encoded key.

Seven standard air bags*

A total of seven standard air bags surround occupants with a high level of protection in the event of a crash. Advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags* provide nearly instantaneous occupant protection and match air bag output to crash severity. A driver inflatable knee air bag deploys when the driver's air bag deploys. Supplemental front-seat mounted side air bags* provide enhanced protection for the driver and front outboard passenger in certain impacts. Tire Pressure Monitoring System Warning Lamp

The standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System features a warning lamp in the instrument cluster that illuminates and an audible chime that sounds when the system senses low tire pressure in any tire.

'Follow Me Home' function: headlamp off delay

FIAT 500 includes a 'Follow Me Home' function. When you leave the vehicle at night, the headlamps stay on to illuminate the front of the vehicle for a preset period of time – up to three-and-a-half minutes.

Fog Lamps

The available fog lamps project a low, wide beam of light to increase road surface illumination and to cut down on glare in low visibility conditions, such as fog or snow.

Power Sunroof

The FIAT 500 features an available Power Sunroof. It has a large glass surface that can open partially to vent, bringing fresh air into the cabin, or open fully for an exciting open-air driving experience. It monitors inside and outside temperature as well as surface temperature, and automatically adjusts airflow, temperature, distribution and recirculation to maintain the desired temperature setting.

Cargo capacity

FIAT 500 offers generous space for all sorts of cargo, with over 184 litres with the rear seats up and over 496 litres with the rear seats folded. You can add a storage unit or an organizer to the trunk to keep cargo from being tossed about.

Digital instrument panel display with EVIC

The instruments have been designed in a slick, rounded panel, with an integrated digital display that's easy to read. The standard Electronic Vehicle Information Computer (EVIC) is a customizable driver information and control system that makes it easy to select and view information. Display choices include trip, outside temperature, average fuel economy, distance to empty, low fuel, service and range.

Driver's seat easy-entry with memory

FIAT 500 includes standard driver's seat easy-entry with memory. It allows you to set the driver's seat position to your specific preferences. When someone wants to enter the back seat, you can flip your front seatback forward, and slide the entire seat forward for easy entry. When you return the driver's seat to its upright position, it returns to its originally set position.

Heated Front Seats

Available heated sport cloth seats feature two different heat levels, providing an extra measure of comfort for the driver and front-seat passenger in cooler weather.

The standard power mirrors can be adjusted from inside the vehicle at the touch of a button. The heat feature helps keep mirrors free of moisture, providing a clearer rear view, even in inclement weather. The foldaway feature helps keep the mirrors safe from damage in tight quarters, like car washes.

Seats designed for comfort

FIAT 500 seats are works of art. You can choose the same two-tone design as the original FIAT 500, with the top half of the seats and the head restraints matching the colour of the steering wheel. But looking good is only a small part of the story. These seats are designed to hold you and your passengers snugly in place for maximum comfort. It's like they are custom-made to fit you perfectly. Seats are Sport cloth, durable, stylish and comfortable.

Storage features

The FIAT 500 offers numerous storage features. The glove box and front passenger seat cushion all offer storage space for the items you always carry. Three cupholders are included in the front seat and two additional cupholders are found in the rear. The rear cargo shelf panel offers additional storage space. There are pockets on the front doors and the front seatbacks. If you need to stow it, store it or secure it, the 500 gives you plenty of options.

1.4L I4 MultiAir® Engine

FIAT 500 is equipped with FIAT's 1.4-liter, in-line four-cylinder MultiAir® engine. MultiAir® is a sophisticated technology that delivers an increase in power up to 10 percent and a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions up to 10 percent when compared to similar engines. FIAT MultiAir® technology was awarded 'Best of what's new' in 2010 by Popular Science Magazine. Five-speed manual transmission

The five-speed manual transmission combines excellent shift quality and shift effort with efficient performance. It includes an overdrive gear that contributes to improved fuel efficiency and lower highway noise.

Sport Button

Pressing the 'Sport' button on the dash panel will instantly adjust the steering feel and transmission shift points and make the throttle even more responsive, for a more sporty driving experience.

Suspension system

The suspension system on FIAT 500 Pop, Sport and Lounge models includes a McPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear axle. Front and rear sway bars and numerous other suspension advancements contribute to the FIAT 500's impressive ride and handling characteristics. The Sport model has a slightly higher rate suspension and 16-inch tires with shorter sidewalls, which results in a slightly stiffer and more responsive ride.

TomTom® Nav w/Blue&Me(TM) Hands-Free Communication

TomTom® Nav w/Blue&Me(TM) Hands-Free Communication integrates fully with your Fiat 500. In addition to the navigation, the 4.3-inch screen is used to display and help manage your phone and music, as well as displaying data from the Electronic Vehicle Information System such as low fuel warning. The navigation unit charges while mounted to the dash, and in addition it's a portable unit that fits in your pocket.

Active front head restraints*

Standard driver and front-passenger active head restraints1 are designed to help prevent or reduce the extent of injuries to the driver and front passenger in certain types of rear-end impacts. When deployed, in the event of a rear-end collision, these head restraints move forward and upward to decrease the space between the headrest and the occupant's head, thereby helping to reduce the chance of injury. The head restraints can be tilted forward and backward for increased comfort.

All-speed Traction Control System (included with ESC*)

Standard all-speed traction control is an electronically controlled system that limits wheel spin during acceleration so that the drive wheels have maximum traction. It's particularly useful when starting off in wet or icy conditions.
